Summary:
A structural precast laborer is responsible for assisting in the production and installation of precast concrete components.
Duties:
Preparing and cleaning molds for the casting of concrete compenents Removing and cleaning finished precast components from molds Operating various tools such as hand tools and power tools Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning areas and equipment Assisting with other manual tasks as needed Required Skills:
Able to learn to read a tape measure and blueprints Good communication skills and ability to work in a team Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures and guidelines Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Physical Requirements:
Lifting and carrying heavy objects up to 50lbs Bending, kneeling, and crouching for extended periods Working in all weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold Must be able to wear personal protective equipment, such as hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, and work boots
